Christmas Trip: Travel from Ashland to Carson City

We drove over passes and encountered some weather but the trip was easy. We stopped at Susanville, CA for lunch and headed on towards Reno, NV. I remembered that our childhood friend Gail and her husband John lived somewhere near Reno. We called and spent a lovely evening with them. On the way we met Steve's good friend Roland and hid wife Judy in Reno. They had rescued some of Steve's art from a gallery that closed and we stopped to pick it up.
