Palette Princesses Meet Again

We met at Helen's house this morning to discuss "Plague of Doves" and have breakfast together. We are the Palette Princesses, a group of lady painters who enjoy reading and discussing books and who paint together. Today there were only five of us. In the top picture are Eve, Pat, Valerie and Helen. The middle picture is Helen's Havanese named Chica. The bottom is Pat and her Havanese, Chi Chi.

We hopped in our car and drove to Maple Valley on December 30th and spent two nights at Bill and Mary's house. We've known them for many years and it was so delightful to spend a relaxing visit at their home. Wednesday evening we went to a Shoreline bistro together to hear our other friends Jyl and Chris perform wonderful mellow jazz. On the 31st we spent the day relaxing and schmoozing with Bill and Mary's three dogs. Also eating all sorts of wonderful goodies. We played Pictionary and saw in the New Year together. What a lovely way to welcome 2010.
