Beautiful Bailey

We just love our great niece Bailey. Not only is she beautiful, she's sweet, bright and fun to be with. And her parents Emmett and Jennifer are super with her. While Jason was here he got to meet Miss Bailey too. We have such a great family.

Trip to Seattle

We traveled to Seattle on a very snowy day. We were on our way to Chris and Jyl's house for a visit. The main reason was that Ann had an art show to hang and a reception to attend the next day at the Olympus apartment complex in Seattle. We weren't sure we'd make it given the weather. But we made it safely there and back, hung the show, and had a great time at the reception and visiting our good friends Chris and Jyl.

Jason has arrived from Brooklyn. He came in last night to Seatac in Seattle. Dave and Nora's son Emmett and his family were arriving within half an hour of Jase so Dave and Nora picked them all up and Jase spent the night in Anacortes. Today Arvin, Steve and I all went down to meet the family. We three McMillans played bridge and then we all had dinner to celebrate my upcoming birthday. Rick and Judy joined us. We had a great evening.

Icy Fountain

Yesterday we met with other Whatcom Community College retirees for lunch at the Hearthfire Grill in Bellingham. After lunch as we walked out we noticed that the fountain had been depositing ice on the plants nearby. It's been cold here lately!
