Christmas Trip: Lake Mead National Recreation Area

We drove to a slot canyon in the Lake Mead Recreation Area. On the way we managed to wedge the car in a rocky area. It took an hour but we got it out and safely parked. From there we walked up to the canyon. We met a nice man named Gary with his dog Bud. Steve and Dave went into an abandoned mine while Arvin and I walked back to the car. From there we drove to one of our favorite spots in the park. It was late in the day and the orange colors were rich and wonderful.
