February 9 - Valley of Fire

One of our favorite places to visit is Valley of Fire. Whenever we come here we have to visit at least once. Today we drove out Racetrack Road, very near to the condo, and headed through Lake Mead National Recreation Area to Valley of Fire. We spent several hours there exploring and tramping around and over the amazing sandstone formations.
When we got home we spent some quiet time while I worked on my photos and then went for dinner and a game of Mexican Train at Emmett and Jennifer's. This time Jen made wonderful fresh salmon for dinner. She is an excellent cook. We were tired and happy at the end of the day.
