February 13 - Back to Lake Mead Recreation Area

We had to go back. Steve found some amazing rocks that look like petrified wood. I wanted to see some too. Arvin was all for going back today to explore. Steve and I took a long walk back into a wash that went through multi-colored hills of dirt and rock. We did find the petrified wood and all sorts of other amazing rocks and plants. It was a great walk. Just as we got back to the car it began to rain. The clouds were great.

In the evening we took Emmett, Jennifer and Bailey to a restaurant called Firefly where they serve Spanish Tapas. Yum!
