Morning Glow

This morning as I stood at the sink preparing the kitties' breakfast I noticed a sight I'd never seen before. The hills behind the lake were shrouded in fog but the sun managed to illuminate just the surface of the lake. Of course the cats had to wait while I grabbed my camera to catch the scene. Quickly the glow spread as the fog burned off. Eventually the cats did get fed and I got some amazingly beautiful photos of my favorite view.
