McMillan Family Photo Shoot

Emmett and Jennifer were visiting from Las Vegas so Nora wanted to have a family photo shoot. It's been awhile. So I pulled out my trusty Canon 5D and took some family photos. In the top photo are Spencer, Nora, Dave, Emmett and Jennifer.

Wonderful Day

A small group of Studio UFO painters went to Felix Solomon's house today to watch as they steamed the river canoe he is carving. We all had a great time being together and watching the process.

Sunshine at Last

Took a walk in Whatcom Falls Park this afternoon. It was the first fully sunny day in a long time. There were lots of people in the park and I enjoyed soaking up the sun as I walked. I finally got to see the owl that Ian and Jerien had told me about when they visited. It was a perfect day for a walk.

It's the 19th and I just learned that the owl I saw is a Barred Owl. How cool is that?

Overnight In Seattle

Sara from Bellingham Goodwill drove us down to Seattle yesterday. We stayed the night at the Crowne Plaza and went out to Shuckers for dinner. Our food was wonderful especially the crab mac and cheese. Yum! We took a walk around downtown to settle our food before an early bed. I couldn't sleep so I got up and took a few shots of the view from our window at night.

Arvin's Day

Arvin was honored at a breakfast given by Goodwill at Benaroya Hall in Seattle. He was chosen to be their first annual Volunteer of the Year. He's been teaching computer literacy at the Bellingham Goodwill Learning Center for 11 years. I'm so proud of him.

In the top photo is Arvin with his supervisor Sara from Bellingham Goodwill. In the bottom picture are Arvin with Winny and Norma (recipient of one of the Goodwill scholarships) and Maureen, one of the Bellingham instructors.
