Old Tulips and Mehitabel

Rainbow Goodbye

After a lovely day of sun and cloud yesterday, a storm came blowing through. With it came rain illuminated by the last rays of the afternoon sun. A beautiful double rainbow formed. It seemed as if Bellingham were staging a farewell show for Ian and Jerien who were finally able to head home this morning. They ended up staying an extra ten days while they waited for the volcano dust to settle and the airports of Europe to reopen. They were so gracious about the wait. We were happy to have them here with us for four weeks. Bon Voyage friends.
