At Dave & Nora's

-- Post From My iPhone

We spent Sunday eve with Dave & Nora. After a yummy Greek dinner at The Islands we played games. This is Settlers of Catan. I was playing with my new iPhone too.

Messing around with my new iPhone

Finally joined the 21st century and got an iPhone 3GS. What a great way to waste gobs of time. It really is a fun toy and a decent phone too. It's a phone, music player, 3mp camera, game machine and internet-browsing computer. So glad I took the plunge. The first photo I took was of Arvin sitting in the dining room. The ones above are of our view. The camera isn't bad given the sensor size and the teeny tiny lens.

What, kittens again? Youbetcha!

Can't resist taking their pictures. Every day they want to play with the flying mouse and feather toys. I've gotten into the habit of taking pictures while they play. Works for us all.

At Bayou on Bay

We went to dinner Friday before the Art Walk at Bayou on Bay in Bellingham. We love this restaurant. I was showing our friend Judy my camera and she grabbed a few shots of me, Arvin and my brother Dave. Kind of silly but fun.

The Queen

She continues to rule all she surveys, Coonmora Lady Fiona, Queen of the Universe. The kittens have made her young again. I took this photo while the three of them were playing with the flying mousie toy. Fiona was on top of the tower and would not brook the kittens getting near when it was her turn with the toy. She is still a beautiful cat at 15 1/2 years old.

Hot Kitties

At the end of a hot day, Mehitabel and Duma are taking a nap. Had to grab my camera and take a photo.

Plein Air at Woodstock Farm

Yesterday I went plein air painting with Trish Harding and a group from Studio UFO. It was an exquisite day, hot, sunny, with a light breeze. I painted with my friend Susan up on the ridge. The view at the top is what I was looking at. The rest of the painters worked down below near the house and barn. Here are Mike and Valerie hard at work.
