February 7 - Henderson, NV

We spent a quiet day today. Our flight was delayed and we got in late last night. We had a late dinner and by the time we got to bed it was after one in the morning. So we got up easy this morning. Before breakfast Steve and I walked to the store and got fruit and milk and all the other things we'd need for our stay here in the Las Vegas area. Steve was thinking about getting a used bike for the house so we visited several thrift stores. We didn't buy a bike but did get some clothes and some placemats for Dave and Nora's condo.
Emmett and Bailey met us for lunch at a great restaurant that had salads and sandwiches. Afterwards we all stopped at the condo and relaxed and played Mexican Train. Emmett and I took turns feeding Bailey. Here she is with a some evidence of the food we were feeding her.


















When it got to be dinner time we picked up some pizzas from Papa Murphy's and headed to Emmett and Jennifer's house. Jen was arriving home from work just as we got there. We spent the evening together eating, talking, laughing and playing with Bailey and their three dogs and one cat. It was a lovely day.
