February 15 - On the Strip

Since we are in Las Vegas... we had to check out the Strip. Talk about culture shock! We looked at the Luxor, Excaliber and New York, New York. I like NYNY the best. All were over the top just like everything in LVNV.




Inside the Luxor, looking up at the pyramid. It's bigger than it looks. Each row has hotel rooms behind it.




Excaliber looks better inside than out. The outside looks like a plastic Fantasy Land from Disneyland.




New York, New York had some interesting Deco designs and those I liked, especially in the elevators. This is the front entrance.
