Went for a walk today from Fairhaven to Boulevard Park. We passed the Reid Boiler Works on the way down to the park. It's an interesting building built in the late 19th century. We've seen it many times and never has there been anybody there. Not so on our way back to Fairhaven. A young man named Michael was there and the door to the main building was open. For the first time we got a look inside. It's an amazing place. Michael was foreman there when it closed two years ago. Now he helps the owners by keeping an eye on the place.
